Audio Marketing Manager

The Audio Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for the omnichannel marketing strategy used to grow the Audio & Infotainment categories of the company. This position is essential to driving product demand and ultimately sales in these growth categories, by understanding the customer and developing effective messaging, training, and marketing strategies. This role will work with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and DTC teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes the omnichannel marketing plan with the intent of meeting and exceeding revenue goals in the Audio & Infotainment categories.
  • Gathers and analyzes industry information to identify changing consumer needs.
  • Responsible for crafting the product story on all mediums including social, website, email, press releases and video story boards and scripts.
  • Funnels consumer feedback into the Product Development and Tech Support process
  • Understands marketing KPIs by channel, how to measure ROI and the process for continuous campaign improvement.
  • Provides input into the video creative process.
  • Works with the Product Development team to understand the specifications of new products and translate those specifications into consumer relatable benefits.
  • Composes, evaluates, and conducts training on products and marketing activities.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Works with external vendors to coordinate promotional items.
  • Works with sales to develop sales promotions with defined measures of success.
  • Develops a strategic industry event strategy with KPI metrics in place.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Car Audio Industry, its consumers, successful marketing tactics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or other relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of proven omnichannel marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.

Buyer

The AAMP Global Buyer is responsible for maintaining the supply chain inventory levels for multiple AAMP Global US warehouses. The Buyer must be capable of ensuring inventory levels are met, but not exceed, in each location. This role is responsible for maintaining clear and accurate records of all business transactions for the organization in regards to purchasing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase orders using system tools provided, analyzing forecast against historical demand and current trends for optimal quantity to meet business needs.
  • Maintain accurate delivery dates for POs by proactively communicating with suppliers.
  • Maintain and update accurate product information such as cost and item characteristics within the ERP system (Oracle Netsuite) and supply chain planning tools (Blueridge).
  • Maintain a balance of product service level and inventory costs across multiple facilities including but not limited to managing inventory transfers.
  • Communicate clearly with purchasing & logistics team in China about matters related to open POs and transit status.
  • Provide necessary inventory reports to other departments, vendors and global entities.
  • Navigate supplier issues to provide on time at cost deliveries.
  • Collaborate with necessary departments to resolve product billing or shipping issues.
  • Build strong vendor relationships and monitor vendor delivery performance at the sku level.
  • Validate new vendors (primarily Asia based) for their terms, price, policies, lead times, capacity, etc.
  • Manage/consolidate supplier base to efficiently support business needs.
  • Proactively negotiate costs with suppliers to drive cost savings across all product and purchasing activities.
  • Identify and communicate product sales trends to avoid outages or overages that result from these trends.
  • Research and recommend product or vendor sourcing solutions when challenges arise.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of Domestic and International purchasing.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, especially in Excel, and a working understanding of MRP/ERP.
  • Understanding of logistical requirements to supply multisite operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple disciplines of the business.
  • Demonstration competence in decision making.
  • Electronic component supply chain awareness is a plus

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years’ experience in purchasing.
  • Negotiation training.
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Experience with Blue Ridge is preferred.

Car Audio Product Manager

AAMP Global, designer and manufacturer of aftermarket and OEM vehicle technology, is looking for a Product Manager to join its global high performance integrated audio team. Stinger and AudioControl are iconic brands in the car audio space, and behind the brands we have a team of audiophiles, meticulously designing and engineering speakers, subs, amps, and other audio accessories and components. Giving drivers worldwide, studio quality sound in any vehicle on the road.

 

An integral part of the audio team, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing multiple new product development projects ranging from vehicle-integrated audio products to audio installation accessories. Reporting to the VP of Integrated Audio, this role will be key to the success of the next phase of the product roadmap.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): product design, active collaboration with engineering resources, project management, product evaluation and testing, global vendor management, assist with manuals and internal training, and working with internal teams such as sales, training, and marketing to ensure successful product launch.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience and passion for car audio – understanding of the technology behind the products, and able to transform market needs to products and solutions
  • Experience and understanding of vehicle electronic systems, integration technologies, and related installation methodology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Firm understanding of project design to ensure efficient and effective launch from product conception through commercialization
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive timelines
  • Understand how to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the most successful outcome to projects
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing process, and experience managing multiple global vendor relationships
  • Ability to manage product development projects
  • Own the quality of the product and work with quality engineering team to ensure new products adhere to the standards Stinger and AudioControl demand
  • Prepare all required product documentation or data including Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs) and RFQ’s
  • Interacts with other functional groups, customers and vendors to coordinate technical and schedule matters and to successfully launch projects on time.

 

What you will need…

  • 5+ years relevant experience working with car audio products and global manufacturing factories
  • Must have a proven track record of product development project management with conclusive results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with peers in cross functional areas; work cooperatively with management
  • Proven experience managing multiple, fast paced projects, with on time and on budget launches
  • Ability to communicate effectively; verbal and written; strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work extended hours; may include domestic and international travel at times which can include evenings and/or weekends

 

Position could be located in either Clearwater, FL or Ontario, California.

Commercial Services Data Specialist

The Commercial Services Data Specialist is responsible for the building, maintaining and problem solving on data sets and reporting results for multiple offsite installation projects. These databases on multiple projects run concurrently and may contain up to thousands of vehicle identification numbers (VIN). Daily activities include timely and accurate reporting on nightly installations, working with install teams and project managers to plan, problem solve and communicate to both internal and external customers. This role is part of an effective and collaborative team that is focused on delivering the best customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and report results for multiple installations projects from multiple data sources.
  • Translate raw data into usable tables and reports for both internal and external consumption.
  • Manage large databases of installation details, including reporting, tracking, schedule changes, misses and blockers.
  • Proactively monitor and report on multiple project statuses.
  • Manage business intelligence software for internal reporting.
  • Work closely with team members to effectively communicate results and challenges to customers and third-party installation companies.
  • Exceed customer service expectations with timely and accurate responses to requests.

 

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel knowledge; including database formulas, pivot tables and managing large amounts of data.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to problem solve data conflicts, duplicates, and other data issues.
  • Ability to provide the highest quality customer service.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, whether on the phone, in person, or via e-mail.
  • Excellent organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed to meet or exceed deadlines.
